  In the new NemLog-in solution, you now have the opportunity to log in with your private MitID.

  You have one of the four new MitID identification means. The four new MitID autenticators are the MitID app, code display, audio code reader or chip. With the MitID app, you can authenticate with MitID on your smartphone or tablet with a swipe.

  The MitID code display is a small, electronic device that displays a one-time code when you press on a button. You must enter the one-time code when you log in and authenticate with MitID, eg if you need to transfer money to your online bank, view your tax information or shop online.

  The MitID audio code reader is intended for people with impaired vision. It displays and reads a unique one-time code aloud. You must enter the one-time code when you log in and approve with MitID, eg if you need to transfer money to your online bank, view your tax information or shop online.

• How do I log in with NemID?

  In the transition to the new NemLog-in solution, you still have the option to log in with your NemID.

  Everyone with NemID must have a private MitID with time. You can use MitID for everything that you have used NemID for, for example to transfer money to online banking, shop online or book an appointment with the doctor.

  Even if you get MitID, you must keep NemID until further notice. You should, because during a transition period there may be some places where you still need to use NemID until NemID is finally phased out. You will be notified when you no longer need NemID - either from your bank or from the Danish Agency for Digitalisation. You have one NemID code card or code file.

• Do I have to keep my NemID even though I have activated my privateMitID?
